Digital X-rays
We offer one of the latest technological advances in dentistry with digital radiography (X-rays). A small wireless sensor is placed in the mouth to capture the desired image. After 17 seconds, the computer generates an image that is digitally stored on a massive computer server. These pictures can then be enhanced for clearer viewing on various computer monitors, enlarged for your education, printed out or even emailed to referring doctors. Children also think it is great to be able to see their teeth clearly on a computer monitor.
Not only is digital technology more friendly to the environment, they are also much safer than traditional X-rays. Digital radiographs reduce a child's exposure to radiation by at least 50% and up to 90 %!
